EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS’ SCHEDULE - 2011

Note of Thanks: Our sincere thanks to all of you for participating in this important ministry.

Schedule: If you cannot serve when scheduled you are asked to have someone replace you. Most people do not mind switching places now and then. The telephone numbers are provided on the back. If you have difficulty getting someone, you may call Rose Joyce, the coordinator, at 634-1228.

Consecrated wine: After Mass, consecrated wine is often left in the chalices. Each Communion minister is asked to go to the Blessed Sacrament altar after Mass to assist in consuming the consecrated wine so that it will not be left, or that one or two are left to consume it. You are then asked to take the chalices to the sacristy to purify them. Please check to see that the decanter and the priest’s chalice is also purified.
