THE WAY OF THE CROSS:

St. Stephen’s Parish, Stephenville presents The Way of the Cross, a dramatic musical production at St. Stephen’s Church this coming Friday, March 19 at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome. No admission but a free-will offering will be accepted at the end of the musical presentation.

CHRISM MASS:

The Mass of Chrism will be a week from Tuesday, March 23 at 7:00 p.m. The oils used in the celebration of the sacraments will be blessed.. This is a diocesan celebration to which everyone in the diocese is encouraged to attend. We especially encourage those within our own parish. The oils blessed in this Mass will be the oils used in the Baptism of your children or grandchildren; for the anointing of those celebrating the sacrament of Confirmation and the Sacrament of the Sick. Let us come together, to call upon God to bless the oils to be used on those anointed as members of the Body of Christ.

WEEKEND RETREAT:

The Newfoundland Catholic Renewal is sponsoring a weekend retreat, Return to the Shepherd, at St. Catherine’s Renewal Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor on April 16 - 18. The facilitator is Gerard MacDonald of PE. Space is limited. For more information and to register call 747-9730.
